It would be easy enough to laugh at aspects of this film, but like many low-budget/underground/cult projects, the good parts sneak up on you and are that much more unnerving and memorable. There are some exeedingly creepy scenes here that seem to foretell similar moments in The Shining or the films of David Lynch.
