Review of Body Heat (1981) by Mikey M — 12 Jun 2012
A review of the fantastic "The Square" said it was the best noir since Body Heat. That got me interested in noir. What's so great about Body Heat? Well, Kathleen Turner for one. Sue Collini from Californication lets you know why she was the voice of Jessica Rabbit.
Like Blood & Wine, Last Man Standing and The Square it's hot and sweaty. The characters being unable to escape nature, in the form of lust, wrath, envy, greed or weather are a central theme. Quite an ending.
