I admit it, I'm a David Lynch fanatic and this may be his definitive film. Hopper's performance alone generates one of the most memorable villains in screen history. The film has it all: humor, scares, suspense, eroticism and even musical numbers.
A pitch perfect cast, a tightly woven script and truly unique vision make Blue Velvet one of the greatest films of all time in my not so humble opinion.
