It's a shocking experience, and not good in the slightest. The story is laughably awful, the dialogue terrible and the awkward use of comedy is shockingly bad. I mean it guys, this is DC's new answer to 'Batman & Robin'.
The film, right off the bat shows it's true nature in this strange, off-putting and disgraceful, but well animated introduction which harkens back to anything but the Animated Series. It felt like I was watching a Mickey Mouse cartoon and I knew right there that I was going to experience something truly awful.
Not even the musical score was good, and my god... that whole bar karaoke scene broke me speechless and I was in shock throughout the upcoming 20 minutes of the film. This is supposed to be canon with the Animated Series, and that shouldn't happen, trust me.
Not only does Nightwing get raped in this animated feature, but there are fart jokes in this. Batman himself are cracking jokes left and right and It does not fit at all with what's already been established with TAS or anything resembling Batman in any of us's minds.
This movie was a colossal misfire in every way, and that ending. That ending.... left me gut bursting of embarrassment, and I cannot believe this movie got made with all these talented people behind it.
Holy mother of God, help us.. What have we done?
