Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Benny C — 04 Oct 2009
This was a tough one to get all the way through, due mostly to its 3 and a half hour running time, but also the dry, period-piece content. There's no doubt it's an epic, and obviously a labour of love from the incomparable Stanley Kubrick, but as far as entertainment goes, I just wasn't feeling it.
