Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Sandro R — 02 Jan 2018
Kubrick's most elegant film, Barry Lyndon, tells the tale of the rise and fall of its titular character. It's an often overlooked masterpiece that has a lot of emotional weight to it. It's an epic from a different era of movies, moving along with a graceful, unrushed pace.
Plus, it's a feast for the eyes. You could pick any shot, frame it and put it up on a wall.
