How is this movie so highly rated? It's terrible. It's not scary, it's not original, and it makes no sense. Somehow, there is a 12 year old girl with cochlear implants and is the only one on the planet that has them. Nobody could figure out that monsters that can't see, smell, or detect you except by hearing could be defeated? It's absolute nonsense. It isn't even a slow burn, it's a no burn. You have characters you don't care about, monsters that make no sense, and a plot so full of holes that swiss cheese looks solid in comparison. Basically this is everything that is wrong with Hollywood.

Alone in the Dark is a better movie and that has been my bar for worst movie ever made.
