Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Jim R — 02 Jun 2007
So incredibly funny! Many people consider this the best Marx Brothers film, but I smack those people in the mouth for heresy. Everyone knows, including God, that Duck Soup is funnier. However, if director Sam Wood would have gotten rid of the two meaningless, arbitrary songs and added a few more scenes with the Brothers, this may well be funnier than Duck Soup.
It's still one of the funniest movies of all time!
