Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Kim B — 16 Nov 2017
The plot is quite honestly nonsensical and silly. At times I felt myself drifting off. However the slapstick and witty play on words humor was what kept the film rolling and restoring my attention. Probably liked Duck Soup a little bit better, but much along the same line.
This type of humor which is practically an art form has sadly seemed to have died off nowadays in comedy. Not only were the Marx brothers funny, but as u can see from this film they were also extremely talented (musically and otherwise).
