Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Charlie W — 05 Oct 2007
This was a really cool movie. the directing was intelligent and noticeable enough to make this a movie based on a play, and not just a filmed play. I have never seen the play, but I loved this script. it was casual and witty, and even though it didn't generally take itself seriously, it was very serious.
thats quite a feet. I found king henry VIII hilarious in his inconsistencies. I was also particularly fond of the immoral and logic driven cardinal, played by orson welles, definitely one of my favorites.
