Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Garrett C — 09 Mar 2012
A Man For All Seasons is a powerful and thought provoking story of a man who was willing to give up everything for faith and reason. The film's writing by Robert Bolt is very witty and wise. The performances, especially by Scofield and Shaw, are very notable.
The film not only touches on devotion and conscience, but also politics. This is surely one of the most intelligent and powerful religious films of all time, and can't be missed.
