Uplifting celebration honouring some of the most prominent back-up singers that ever graced the live concert stage. Only briefly touching on the failures of their own solo careers, the film instead embraces the gifted sounds discovered and highlighted in records of the sixties and seventies and, subsequently, in the halls and arenas only twenty feet behind some of our most legendary singing superstars.
Like their soaring voices, this documentary starts off quietly with subtlety but soon becomes a jubilation of incomparable voices.
