This actually won the Oscar for best documentary feature ahead of The Act of Killing? That is nothing short of ludicrous. Whoever was on the panel should be banned from voting on anything ever again ever.
You have possibly the most groundbreakingly brilliant documentary ever made and you have this. Seriously guys? Come on. This is the background singer to all documentaries, it's fine, it's OK but it's formulaic and bland, easily forgettable and far from a star performer.
