Review of Logan's Run (1976) by Eyal D — 18 May 2013
Ah, Jessica 6, how many young boys built their perfect woman around you and your wet hair and thick thighs and impossible dress? The plot is a more muddled than I recall. And the debriefing a confusion of explosions, possibly due to the frustrating nature of the information.
Logan, actually, succeeds in his task of bringing the Sandman to the underground Sanctuary, but then brings down society soon after. Sad. some great ideas - the precursor of the internet sex txt and video with the Circuit; the ghettoized youth who's intelligence leads to backward masking and savagery; TS Eliot's cat poem; Outside being horrible; instant plastic surgery.
Farah Faucet gives an unintentionally disturbing/hilarious performance. And seriously, BOX, should have had more screen time. That guy ruled as the ultimate evil.
