Review of 12 and Holding (2006) by Katy A — 12 Apr 2009

Great flick, shows off how kids in certain situations react once they go through the traumatic experience of losing a best friend/relative. Def. feels like a darker more trouble version of Stand By Me (now close your eyes and imagine that).

I just loved how Jesse Camacho was portrayed, wasn't the generic fat kid, always eating throughout the movie. Brought a smile on my face that he was actually trying to make himself a more fit person and eventually changing his family's eating habits.
