Review of 12 and Holding (2006) by Cameron K — 12 Mar 2009
There are a few really brilliant pieces to 12 and Holding. But ultimately it falls apart becoming a cliched mess. Movies like this make me so mad! The parents are treated like caricatures. The entire story with the fat family is so bad it's distracting.
This is something I never really rip on but the framing in the first half is terrible, it feels like you're watching a TV show.
