Review of 12 and Holding (2006) by Kayla H — 24 Mar 2011
A lot of the writing (or perhaps, how it was put together in the direction) is rather on the nose, and occasionally inappropriate (against what seems to be the aim of the film), but there are some sincerely riveting, authentic moments riddled throughout this film that really caught me off guard while a lot of the film suffers from either misguided performances, unsupportive sound design, mediocre music, and occasionally uninspired cinematography.
