"We may be evolved, but deep down we are still animals.".

Zootropolopotopia (whatever you want to call it) is complicated. But not the inception kind of complicated that makes your brain fuzzy and your eyes melt, the kind of complicated that makes you think and think and think....

Off the bat, this film is absolutely gorgeous, lovely animation again from Disney. The city seemed to blend wonderfully with it's inhabitants and like the films overall message is crowded, but distinctly colourful. It may be hard at first to believe, but I saw more emotion and more chemistry between the Fox, Nicholas Wylde and the Bunny, Judy Hopps than I have in some live action films. With people. Actual people!!!!!

Now the message on diversity on this film should be believed by the hype, it's excellent. The film doesn't point fingers at anyone apart from a slightly fascist sheep? (WTF) Which does appear in the film. Which I guess can lead to a contradiction of moral, however just like every other animal I could predict to be caught, the one I least expected was that. Which is what I loved about this movie, there is no way we can all be perfect. And sometimes that is due to past experiences. Our differences make us all a glass half full, which in a way, balances us all out. We can at least try, and we can say that we did, that's all we can do. Try. And Zootropolis (just gonna call it that) balances that out in every creature in it's environment. It's difficult, but they manage. And that is an achievement it would be without question to applaud.

Zootropolis, like it's animals, have a panorama of personalities as well as advantages and disadvantages, it is by no means a perfect film, but it pits itself so well not to be, that it turns out to be just a little less than that.Try and brighten up someone's day and try to understand that we're all different. We might as well stop fear stirring between us and understand that their is no 'Zootopia' really, but you can puzzle piece one together for yourself from people you love.
