Review of xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017) by Kaleb D — 22 Jan 2017

OK, so you get exactly what you expected with this one. Vin Diesel comes out and growls some lines, stands around looking at women in bikinis wearing high heeled shoes dancing to bad Hip Hop and even worse EDM.

Maybe he sleeps, off camera, with a couple of them, who knows? Then his army of stunt doubles take over for some truly spectacular stunts, maybe some fighting with Kung Fu guys, then lots of shooting with guns that seem to have unlimited magazine capacity.

Then Vin growls a few more lines and repeat stunts, women, shooting, fighting, etc. etc. etc. Vin seems to be making the same movie over and over, sometimes it's XXX sometimes Fast and Furious, they are all more or less the same.

So if you want acting, story lines, plots, etc. don't go to this. If you want to see R rated violence and lots of great stunts then it's just the ticket. We left happy and have forgotten most of the movie already.
