There is no excuse to use split-screen, especially not in a four-hour picture. Commit to your images dammit! Also, it's funny how there were half a million people, but none of them were there while the music was being played.
Show the audience once in a while, dammit! Besides that, the film made me wish I were born forty-five years earlier so I guess it did it's job.
