One of the best movies ever? Pretty damn good - keeps me thinking....

I was in a trance as I watched the professor go on a "road trip" (to receive an award) reflecting on his life, death, and relationships with others. The symbolism is amazing as I am just now piecing everything together. Bergman really constructed this magnificently and conclusion was perfect. This is a film that I want to watch over and over again. Bergman can really bring you peace of mind with his films and at the same time leave haunting images with you. Bibi Andersson is really something as well. Excellent.
