Review of White God (2014) by Christopher P — 13 Apr 2015
Visually pleasing, but with a plot that disintegrates under the weight of its message. The first half of the film is emotional and has a sense of adventure, while the second half feels disparate; and not in a good way.
It becomes more of a cheap slasher than anything else, although it is redeemed slightly by the gorgeous cinematography and score. White God is nothing spectacular, but it's compelling and at times beautiful.
