Review of White Dog (1982) by Roger T — 05 May 2010
A little laughable. What I liked was that it was so different...I always love to see an idea that hasn't been done better. The dog was definitely vicious and the tension surrounding him was what helped the movie.
The downfalls were that the lead couldn't act and because that dog was so vicious it was a little hard to buy that they would take him in and even bother to try and train him, especially after he killed someone.
..that was a huge stretch. Not one that I bought. The ending was also a major disappointment. It was so ridiculous that you couldn't help but laugh. One climax after another after another and they all fell short.
They just took it too far and made it more of a joke than anything.
