Why do critics like this? laughable dialouge that's poorly acted by a bunch of third rate stars. kristy mcnichol looks like a 10 year old boy wearing his mom's clothes. the whole message of the film is so bogged down in melodrama and metaphor that I couldn't take it seriously.
I turned it off 2/3 of the way through. criterion collection definitely makes mistakes.
