Definitely not for everyone, but Pfeiffer and Sutherland are both superb here. However, the filmmakers really ask a lot of the audience, with many shots in virtual darkness and from a distance, terribly irritating music, and nearly a constant depressive tone.
Still those two performances were worth the price of admission for me. Finally,at least the film has an appropriate ending and not a convoluted one like so many others today.
