DON'T Listen to the critics on this one. This movie is a pretty good movie overall. There are a lot of things that makes the audience think and link that with strong women characters and that just scares the heck out of the two-bit movie critics.

This movie is not an action movie, its not a comedy, its a full-blown drama that does incorporate a little of each of those. You will find yourself lost with the characters (in a good way), happy and laughing then in tears in a touching moment, its a roller coaster of emotions, drawing a stark line between Mark and his alter ego Hoagie.

Carell is AMAZING, and all his co-stars are superb. If you like to completely shut off your heart and mind for a movie, then this isn't a movie for you. if you want a movie that is touching and real, dealing with a very real person, a movie with ups and downs emotionally, this is your movie. Give it a chance, its definitely at least worth that.
