Welcome To Marwen is definitely not what a lot of people expected when they walked into the theater. It is a jarring and beautifully shot story that gives us a peek into the mind of a wounded man who is trying to find peace in his life after he is brutally attacked by a group of Neo-Nazi's because of his proclivity toward wearing heels as a man.

He uses his dolls to tell the story that he cannot seem to face himself and through them he gains the power to rise above his fear. Very interesting and definitely worth a watch. 6/10.
