It's a good film, but I can see that it's a completely different experience if you haven't seen the original documentary.

A problem people may be having is that this is a lot closer to a documentary with fictionalized elements than a movie with a message or a point to get across. If you're looking for a message, go see something else. This isn't a movie about hope, or love, or justice, or even finding one's self. It's more of a "day-in-the-life" that shows the experience of a specific individual, no more, no less.
