Review of W. (2008)

By Adam W (1,422) on 06 Aug 2009

Anchored by an excellent performance by Josh Brolin, W. isn't quite the film you expect it to be - particularly coming from Oliver Stone…

Review of W. (2008)

By Paul W (1,226) on 05 Aug 2009

An entertaining, if non-verifiable, replay of the Meathead Presidency and the events that lead to it…

An entertaining, if non-verifiable, replay of the Meathead Presidency and the events that lead to it…

Review of W. (2008)

By Dane M (235) on 02 Aug 2009

This felt like a rushed homework assignment: W. did this, and he did that, and ... no wait…

Review of W. (2008)

By Steven C (1,252) on 01 Aug 2009

Considering the over-ambitious junk Oliver Stone has done in the last ten years, a film about President George W…

Review of W. (2008)

By Matt M (2,511) on 01 Aug 2009

I think Oliver Stone held back in terms of really slamming Bush, which I guess was Stone's way of saying you can only beat the horse so much…

Review of W. (2008)

By Shannon C (267) on 01 Aug 2009

An highly under-rated film. Shockingly, this film presents an unbiased biography of George W. Bush up to the Iraq War…

Review of W. (2008)

By Casey W (150) on 31 Jul 2009

As much as I wanted this to be a comedy, I was still satisfied even though it was a lot more serious…

Review of W. (2008)

By Darrin R (19) on 31 Jul 2009

Josh Brolin did his very best to carry this movie on his own but his considerable talent wasnt quite enough…

Review of W. (2008)

By Marybeth F (32) on 30 Jul 2009

This was one of the best films I've seen this year. I wish that I would've seen it in theaters…

Review of W. (2008)

By Doug B (278) on 30 Jul 2009

One thing this film has in it's favour is attention to detail, the sublime casting is one thing it's got right; all round though, there's not…

Review of W. (2008)

By Leong C (520) on 29 Jul 2009

Watching this movie really ensures me that W. is a screwed up good for nothing guy that con the whole world…

Review of W. (2008)

By Brian C (2,025) on 28 Jul 2009

The film lacks bite and doesn't tackle and confront the controversial issues in the 43rd president's legacy, but despite its historical inaccuracies,…

Review of W. (2008)

By Jane M (242) on 28 Jul 2009

Silly me. I was expecting at least a sort of honest portrait of George W. Bush's life, love him or hate him…

Review of W. (2008)

By Dylan 1 (1) on 28 Jul 2009

An uneven and frustrating film. The film both sympathizes with, and insults George W. Bush…

Review of W. (2008)

By Joe K (730) on 27 Jul 2009

Great performances. Everyone does an amazing job. But in the end the film is unsatisfying. I wanted more…

Review of W. (2008)

By Nefnie L (72) on 26 Jul 2009

I don't know where the controversial Stone went, but he was missed in this picture…

Review of W. (2008)

By Claire H (237) on 26 Jul 2009

I already believe W is a douche. I did find some interesting points that pieced together things I already heard…

Review of W. (2008)

By James V (181) on 25 Jul 2009

Not that great of a story line but very good acting. But then again maybe my personal feelings about Bush clouded my judgement…

Review of W. (2008)

By Robert H (1,967) on 24 Jul 2009

Should this movie be funny? I thought it was hilarious...especially turdblossom. Yet, it really was mediocre for Stone's standards…
