Review of W. (2008) by Brian R — 02 Jul 2012
Oliver Stone's goes back to his roots and makes a daring film about George W. Bush, his best since Nixon. I really enjoyed this film it is an honest character study of how a man who failed at businesses and drinked most of his young adult life changed at the age of 40, found Jesus, became a politcian, and eventually became the 43rd president of the United States.
It sounds kinda sweet but even W. made pretty risky bad choices during his presidency and of course the terrible mistake of invading Iraq. The movie W. is never boring I empathized with Josh Brolin as W.
, the rest of the ensamble cast is excellent, it's funny, and above I learned W. is not a guy who should be in office for eight years. A Great film.
