Review of Visioneers (2008) by Andrew H — 23 Jul 2009
Anyone who likes good movies must see this. I expected something silly with Zach Galifianakis as the lead, and it doesn't disappoint in this area. The first 10 minutes is very reminiscent of Brazil, yet a much more modern spin.
There are some very emotional moments in this film, and Zach pulls them off beautifully. The secondary characters that have their own little things to consume them are all very interesting. I am still thinking about the film 48 hours after watching it, and I will watch it again very soon.
Sad this film came out so under the radar, but if you nextflix one movie this weekend, it better be this one... or you're not my friend.
