Review of Visioneers (2008) by Randall T — 02 Mar 2012
The movie was captivating and enjoyable to watch. The characters were strong and so was the plot. It was interesting to watch this alternate reality in which the only real difference is that people are exploding from unhappines.
Elements of this film kept bringing my mind back to 1984 by George Orwell. Even though there are some key difference, there were many similarities.
The only thing I would change about this film is its genre. This was not a comedy. This was a drama. Even though there were a few funny bits here and there, the overall tone and message of the film keep it from being a comedy.
