If you want the Disney-fied version of ape life, this movie isn't for you. Virunga is real, raw, and riveting. The true story is as engrossing as the photography is beautiful. You owe it to your yourself to spend a couple of hours to get to know the people, the gorillas, and the exploiters of this area of the world.
