Review of Virunga (2014) by Byron B — 09 Mar 2015
While I'm somewhat wary on biased documentaries, it's hard to fault Virunga for this when it's morals seem so correct. It's a moving, tense, and visually gorgeous doc that studies juxtaposes the guilt of human greed against the naive innocence of animals.
While it won't break new ground thematically, it never hurts to be reminded of the awful things that corporate corruption can do.
