Review of Virunga (2014) by Tor M — 30 Oct 2015
Documentary about a nature park in Kongo. We follow it's protectors as different groups tries to occopy it to earn money on oil. Wild mountain gorillas lives there and we get to know a group that takes care of orphan gorillas and their military group that protects the area.
A hard-hitting film with currage and a message. it's highly relevant and important and it handles the "save the animals" message like films like "The Cove" and "Blackfish" but also the more enviremental and cultural side of it brilliantly.
8 out of 10 spy cams.
