Review of Veronica Mars (2014) by Marcmyworks — 20 Mar 2014
A great cast returns to this film reboot of one of my favourite film series. Unfortunately the myriad of characters sometimes bogs down the mystery, which at times feels a bit light. The TV series pushed the boundaries on humour in detective work while solving homicides, while the movie feels more nostalgic than fresh.
I would have liked to have seen more twists and turns, however Kristen Bell and Jason Dohrings performances are excellent.
