Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by C-Ren — 08 Apr 2018

Generally, I thought the film was quite good. It had stunning visuals, the CGI of the alien species was fantastic and very unique for some species. I liked how the use of locations was used throughout the film.

The story itself was really interesting, however, the acting for the two main characters was very poor. Terrible even. I don't know if it was because they were poorly written or the actors just didn't fit the role well at all.

And I found the 'love story' between these two characters to be very boring and unnecessary, at times I wished they would stop talking about it and just move on with the story.
