It hits that sweet spot of awful but not so awful as to be interesting. Painfully dull. The actors don't act. The annoying characters are not sufficiently annoying to even be memorable. The characters that aren't supposed to be annoying are and equally unremarkable either way.
The plot is predictable and tips its hand early in. The visuals are dominated by an over abundance of poor quality CG and there is no aesthetic direction so everything seems disjointed. You'll have immeasurably more fun watching 5th Element for the 9000th time.
