The film itself is only pretty good - very interesting story and characters that one really feels for, but Albert Finney is AMAZING in this movie. The movie really is pretty heavy....it becomes apparent pretty early on that things are going from bad to worse.

.....but this is such an interesting film....such a great mixture of a snap shot of people's lives and relationships and a snapshot of the political and cultural world that they are dealing with at the moment.
