Most people will always remember this movie as 'the girl getting her eye slit open with a razorblade' movie. But I guess the opening shocker just shows the audience that they are in for something extreme and bizarre, where the images are more important than the context.
Even at less than 20 minutes, there are so many unmistakable and unforgetable scenes that make you say 'fuck cinema convention'. The donkey carcass on the piano scene is my favorite. why? dunno.
.. it just is.
