Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Michael W — 12 Dec 2012
With no intention of making sense and only aiming to shock audiences, Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali did everything I think they wanted to with Un Chien Andalou. There is so much influence to many modern avant-garde directors and creators that comes spewing from this short surrealist film.
If you've ever seen a David Lynch film (and liked it) you'll definitely enjoy this. This is definitely one short film I'd like to keep around just to show people for the hell of it. Well done.
