Review of Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) by Matthew M — 01 Feb 2008
This movie is sort of like Easy Rider sans the bullshit, but with some of its own added in. While there's not much dialogue and it will probably put most people to sleep, I was totally sucked in by the movie's imagery and its portrait of male obsession.
I love movies that feel like exploitation drive-in movies that are directed by art-house filmmakers, and this is definately one of them.
