Second time I've seen this....Dennis Wilson from the Beach Boys and singer James Taylor play two dudes that drag race their 55 Chevy to make enough money to survive. Along the way they meet up with a young hippy girl and a dude having a mid life crisis who offers to race them across the country.
Similiar to Easy Rider, some even say Two Lane Blacktop is the greatest road movie ever made. Of course there is more to it then that, but thats what makes the movie so great.
