Review of Turbo Kid (2015) by Luke E — 05 Aug 2015

This quirky and incredibly humorous sci-fi flick is the pitch perfect cult post-apocalyptic action adventure you'll want to see, mainly earning its tributes to the cult sci-fi films of the 80's.

While its definitely grounded in it's own stereotypes, the narrative does overcome these with plenty of inventive OTT violent hilarious gore fested action with incidental parodies on typical narrative cliches.

There's never a dull moment in this instant cult hit that'll certainly gain a great following even with its existential references to nostalgia and pitch perfect casting and writing for all its low budget glory.
