Review of Trouble in Paradise (1932) by Steven S — 02 Feb 2009
The entire film is coated with a delicious layer of irony. The repetition and quick succession of meaningless actions as well as a constant flux of contradicting expressions and emotions delivered by the actors makes for a very funny and enjoyable film.
And boy, for being made in 1932, Trouble in Paradise sure isn't shy when it comes to sexual-innuendos.
