Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Codie E — 21 Apr 2008
Although this film lacks, for me, the high emotional connection of Citizen Kane, it again demonstraits Welles' enormous talent. He has such a keen eye for perfect composition and there are some glorious shots and camera moves in this film, be they the opening track or the scary and ominous shots above Janet Leigh.
Welles' performance must be commended too; a hulking evil and menacing creation.
