Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Calvin C — 18 Apr 2015
Orson Welles is a great director and in this classic film noir, he is at top form. The opening scene alone makes this a classic. The plot is actually simple, but the way the story unfolds, it becomes a great mystery until the very end. Charlton Heston and Janet Leigh are also great in this dark thriller.
Grade: A-.
