Review of Top Hat (1935) by Chloe S — 28 Sep 2007
This was pretty to look at (Cool Art Deco era of decoration and dress), and the music/dance numbers are good, but the humor fell flat to me, compared with 'Swing Time,' so since there is little plot to being with, that hurts the rating.
In comparison, this one seemed rather dull. I may give it another chance, but I just didn't get into it the first time.
