Review of Top Hat (1935) by Edgar C — 31 Dec 2012
Delightful from wherever you see it; people say it's about the singing and dancing, but I say it's about how magically comedy elements were merged with romance and an entertaining plot throughout in the magical days of Golden Age Hollywood. The 30s were perhaps the strongest decade for musicals, and this is one of the best examples.
98/100.
