Review of Tombstone (1993) by Clinton R — 06 Dec 2011
One of my five favorite westerns. Russell, Paxton, and Elliott are rock solid as prototypical wild west lawmen. The real gem here is Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday. He's funny, quick with a reply and witticism, and the best gun our heroes have.
Powers Boothe and Michael Biehn make for great villains, and you have countless recognizable performers appearing left and right. This includes an appearance by Charlton Heston and narration by Robert Mitchum.
